We do take a limited amount of same-day appointments for acute illnesses for established patients. We ask that you call as early as possible in the day you wish to be seen, as these appointments are limited and fill up fast. We ask that you be on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will need to reschedule. We will try to see you as close to your appointment time as possible.
With the help of telemedicine, we are able to bring our services to you, overcoming the barriers of time, distance, and even illness so that you can have access to your provider when you need it most. Telemedicine allows us to deliver a unique consultation experience to you remotely using HIPAA compliant video conferencing tools.
Telehealth visits are appropriate for many non-emergency situations, but not all. You can use telehealth for follow-up appointments, to review lab results, or to refill prescriptions. However, you should seek in-person care for severe symptoms or injuries.
When telehealth is appropriate
When telehealth is not appropriate
Preparing for a telehealth visit
· You will need to download an app called “Ring Central” to your phone
· The provider will send a text message at your appointment time. You will click on the link and enter access code. Please understand that some visits may take longer than others. The provider may delay a text message if they are with another patient.
If you are unable to make your appointment when scheduled, we ask that you cancel within 24 hours, so that another patient may be seen in that time slot. If you do not cancel within 24 hrs, there will be a $25.00 charge added to your account.
